- Audiences can now access more music than ever before thanks to i-Tunes and more new bands can be accessed through myspace.
- I think audiences are continuing to do what they always have done but are using there spare time to download music.
- The new technologies are generally consumed by young adults or teenagers of both sexes.
- EMI's dropping of its copywright has enabled i-Tunes to put up higher quality songs up for download. Other things that cna be an advantage to the audience ar convergence of the phone and the mp3 player it has two things that many people already have and are used to combined into one space. the audience also has choice over what songs and what sites to use .
- It also allows access to many songs and musicians from many countries allow cultural imperialism.
- The piracy of music is on the increase and limewire is a prime subject many people download off of it for free, some then go on to put the songs on to cd's and in one case sell these tapes or cd's to people e.g. pirate copy's of music.
